The US issued a 15-point ceasefire plan, but Iran has rejected the terms and accused the US of pretending negotiations are making headway as a front for military manouvres. Memarian says the US has done this before.

He also told MEE Live's @mathildamall that the US' threats to target Iranian "civilisation" are "helping the Iranian government," by showing the Iranian people that the US is not on their side.
