In an interview with Channel 4, British surgeon Nick Maynard described seeing young Palestinian boys shot by Israeli forces while seeking aid at distribution sites in Gaza. Maynard added that on specific days, injuries would be clustered in a specific area - the head or neck, abdomen or testicles - either by Israeli soldiers or quadcopter drones. He explained that because of severe malnutrition, many injuries were not treatable. Yet doctors who had tried to bring baby formula into Gaza had had it confiscated at the border. Maynard's testimony is one among countless others of Israeli forces opening fire on Palestinians at aid sites - including Israeli soldiers themselves, who cite orders to do so. Nearly 900 Palestinians have been killed at these aid sites since Israel took over control of distribution in late May.
