The president repeated the statements in a post on his Truth Social account, saying “KEEP PROTESTING… HELP IS ON ITS WAY”. He called on protesters to “take over your institutions” and “make Iran great again”. Strikes over economic hardships in Iran began last week, which have since evolved into protests against the Iranian government. While some protesters have signalled an openness to US involvement, others have expressed fears over the longer-term impacts of foreign intervention.
