Sadaqa was among nearly 2,000 prisoners to be released from Israeli prisons last month as part of a ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel. An Israelite Samaritan who grew up in the occupied West Bank, Sadaqa was given six life sentences and spent 23 years in jail.
