During the transport of persons liable for military service to the Odesa mobilization center for undergoing a Military Medical Commission (MMC), two civilian vehicles blocked the movement of the service transport, after which a group of unidentified individuals damaged the vehicle’s windows and sprayed an irritant gas inside the cabin of the service vehicle. These actions created a real threat to the life and health of the escorting servicemen and the individuals who were inside the transport. The nature of the attackers’ actions may indicate premeditated conduct carried out with the aim of facilitating evasion of military duty by a group of persons liable for military service, three of whom, taking advantage of the situation, fled the scene. Such actions may be classified as intentional obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The leadership of the Odesa Regional TCC is initiating a request to law enforcement authorities to identify and bring to justice all individuals involved in organizing and carrying out the unlawful actions.
