Middle East Eye’s correspondent in Iran reported that the attack occurred at around 11:30 a.m. local time, striking Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, Hormozgan Province, in southern Iran. At least 24 of the victims were girls, aged between seven and 12, and dozens others were wounded. Many students were trapped under the rubble, with 170 female pupils in the school at the time.
