It’s been nearly two months since landlord negligence led to a five-alarm fire at 2910 Wallace Avenue in the Bronx, displacing over 250 tenants. Since this massive fire, city officials have abandoned working-class Bronx tenants to homelessness, providing displaced residents with no option for permanent housing and little to no relief. When the city fails to do its job to hold landlords accountable and provide for hard working New York tenants, it is up to us to mobilize in support of our class! The Party for Socialism and Liberation packed and distributed material aid to tenants using donations received from hundreds of New Yorkers.
