This comes after the 3 January US attack on the Latin American nation, which killed dozens of people, and the brazen kidnapping of President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. Meanwhile, there are reports that Trump plans in coming days to name his so-called “Board of Peace” – made up of foreign vassal leaders – to run Gaza. Its first meeting may be held at the elitist World Economic Forum in Davos. Our guest today to discuss these developments is Justin Podur. He is the author of Siegebreakers, a 2019 novel in which Palestinians in Gaza win a war of liberation, and co-author with Joe Emersberger of the book Extraordinary Threat: The US Empire, the Media and Twenty Years of Coup Attempts in Venezuela.
