Seventeen additional vessels are preparing to join from ports across Italy. For the first time, flotilla ships are sailing side by side from Barcelona and Tunis. In total, 43 boats are in motion, including others set to merge with the fleet en route from Italy and Greece. The mission is carrying aid supplies and more than 300 international participants, including parliamentarians from France, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Algeria, Italy and Germany.
