(2008 Remaster), The Notorious B.I.G. 15-Minute Seitan Part 2: Beef &amp; Broccoli 🥩🥦🌱 This is a sequel to my quickest &amp; laziest seitan recipe which the folks over on the Seitan Appreciation Society on FB are definitely tired of seeing by now lol. In the original video I used plain flour which yields a slightly chewier result but shoutout to Erica Cunningham who suggested instant potato for a softer texture. Thanks to Erica &amp; everyone in the Seitan Appreciation Society! Also @mike_trabert (Bold Flavor Vegan) has a great video on quick shreddable chicken using so check them out too! [Also they're on YouTube] Ingredients: Vital Wheat Gluten - 100g Instant Potatoes/Dried Potato Flakes - 40g Marmite - 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce - 2 tsp Veggie Stock - 80-100ml Broccoli (Steamed) - 150g Oil for frying Sauce: Garlic &amp; Ginger Paste - 1 tsp Lao Gan Ma Chili Crisp - 2 tsp Sweet Soy Sauce - 3 tbsp Light Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp Green Onions &amp; Sesame Seeds for garnish Method: Combine 100g of vital wheat gluten with 40g of potato flakes, Add marmite, dark soy sauce, and stock. Mix until a dough ball is formed. Liquid amount will vary so don’t worry too much so long as you have a workable ball., Stretch out the seitan ball and slice into ½ cm thick slices., Fry seitan strips on both sides until golden, turn heat to low and cover for 10-15 minutes, checking every few minutes., Add your steamed broccoli (I microwaved mine for 2 minutes) and let fry for 1 minute., With your heat on low, add all of your sauce ingredients and toss together coating everything., Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.</description>
