His internationally acclaimed film, No Other Land, documents the destruction of the Palestinian community in Masafer Yatta in the West Bank. Yet despite global recognition, Israeli aggression in the West Bank continues unabated. In July, Adwah Hathaleen, Adra’s close friend and collaborator on the film, was murdered by Israeli settler Yinon Levi. As Adra keeps documenting life under occupation, he reflects on his hope that the world would have listened and acted against Israel’s ongoing violations of international law.
