In the video of the arrest, Dr Aladwan says “we’re just against murder” and argued that she was being arrested “for the Israeli Jewish lobby”. Dr Aladwan, who has lost several family members to Israel’s war in Gaza, was released from custody several hours later with no charges filed and is due to face a medical tribunal over her social media posts on Thursday.
