As in many other countries in the Global North, antisemitism is being weaponised as cover for Tel Aviv’s political interests. Meanwhile, synagogues are attacked, and Semitic people are being killed in the thousands in Iran, Gaza, Lebanon and beyond. Free speech in the West is becoming an illusion — a hollow value that could get you imprisoned for something as simple as a social media post.
