The footage, distributed by the group's propaganda arm Amaq News Agency, purports to show explosions, gunfire and aircraft on fire during what it described as a surprise and coordinated assault. Nigerien authorities say four soldiers were injured in the attack, with several military and civilian aircraft damaged. State television reported that security forces later killed 20 attackers and arrested 11 others.
