Once they see it, they grab what they can and flee, knowing their homes will be demolished and that they will never be able to return,” according to Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor. “This is how Israel continues to forcibly displace Palestinians in the Strip, even after the ceasefire agreement.” In many cases, this new displacement is enforced by wanton murder of civilians, including the horrifying 10 December Israeli killing of a child from Jabaliya who was first shot and then run over by a military bulldozer as he lay bleeding. We are joined by Maha Hussaini. She is the head of media and public engagement at Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor and an award-winning journalist who has been in Gaza throughout the genocide, documenting it as she, her family and her community tried to survive unbearable horrors and loss.
