As we cross the threshold into 2026, the mandate for radical resistance and Pan-African solidarity has never been more urgent. Today, we are honored to be joined by Ajamu Baraka, National Organizer for the Black Alliance for Peace and Dhoruba Bin Wahad, veteran Black Panther Party leader, political prisoner, and lifelong revolutionary strategist. The two of them will analyze the current landscape of empire and the intensifying contradictions under the current administration. 📜 Roots of Resistance: Lessons from Our Ancestors To understand where we are going, we must ground ourselves in the victories and struggles of those who came before us. In this broadcast, we revisit three monumental anniversaries of revolutionary defiance: Haitian Independence (1804): The only successful slave revolution in history that shattered the myth of white supremacy and created the first free Black republic. The Cuban Revolution (January 1, 1959): The victory of the 26th of July Movement, which proved that a determined people can overthrow a U.S.-backed dictatorship and build a sovereign state dedicated to the masses. The Zapatista Uprising (January 1, 1994): The "Ya Basta!" heard 'round the world that challenged neoliberalism and reminded us that indigenous and peasant autonomy is central to the global struggle. 🚩 Looking Ahead: 2026 and the Fight Against Fascism With a domestic landscape defined by increasing repression and the global consolidation of far-right forces, what does "resistance" look like in 2026?
