MEE documented conditions inside displacement camps, where fragile, torn tents failed to withstand strong winds or protect families from the bitter cold. Displaced residents said they spent the night without sleep, while children shivered due to a lack of clothing and blankets after more than two years of war and siege. Mothers described staying awake all night out of fear for their children, as winds ripped through tents and left some families exposed to the open air.
