Leadership members of the Women's League for Peace and Freedom travel to Soviet Russia and meet with the Institute of Soviet-American Relations in Moscow.  The meeting was held at the Friendship House.  The film opens with street scenes of Moscow.  The conference was held to discuss the process of peace.  A joint statement on peace and disarmament was signed.  There are many scenes of people mingling as the narrator speaks of cultural exchange.  The American delegation visits Leningrad, and the film gives a brief recap of the Siege of Leningrad.  In Uzbekistan, they visit politicians and farmers.  They also visit a textile factory.  The narration talks about the improvements in Uzbekistan under the Soviet system.  Mildred Olmsted and Helen Douglas give their reactions to their visit.  The film ends with a montage of children and a call for peace.</description>
