Footage from the ship showed a helicopter following the vessel, as well as a fast-moving boat approaching the Conscience, before soldiers boarded. The last messages from the crew implored the world to take a stand against the ongoing genocide, highlighting the atrocities against press and medical personnel in the Strip. The Conscience is one of nine other vessels sailing to Gaza. As with the Global Sumud Flotilla, the participants are expected to be detained in Israeli jailed, before being deported.
