https://tankie.tube/videos/watch/b2d740e0-46cd-41fb-bf59-3516bb85f580 On Wednesday, June 18, a coalition of residents from the Metro Atlanta area along with community organizations hosted a press conference at the Atlanta Liberation Center to address the police brutality unleashed on peaceful protestors and community members on 6/14 at the anti-ICE rally in Chamblee-Tucker calling for an end to the racist deportations and for full rights for all immigrants. We demand that:

* all arrested on 6/14 in the Embry Hills neighborhood while exercising our first amendment rights be released immediately, and all charges be dropped. The police and responsible officials must be held accountable. 

* ICE free prominent journalist Mario Guevara who was arrested last Saturday while covering the violent repression exercised by the police on protestors and bystanders. 

* Georgia be made into a sanctuary state. ICE out of our communities! 

The movement for immigrant rights will not be intimidated by the scare-tactics of the police, the right-wing, or the Trump administration. We will defend our democratic rights and continue this movement for dignity, justice and full rights for all immigrants.
