The six prisoners are being held on pre-trial detention, with some accused of breaking into a factory operated by Elbit, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, while others allegedly broke into and vandalized a Royal Air Force base. Two of the hunger strikers were hospitalized today, and conditions for all are rapidly deteriorating. The hunger strikers are demanding immediate bail, the right to a fair trial, the end to all censorship of their communications, the “deproscription” of Palestine Action as a “terrorist group,” and the shutdown of all Elbit Systems sites across the UK.
