En route, they were intercepted, kidnapped and detained by Israeli military forces – and the conditions they faced were brutal. To a packed room that gathered to welcome home the Flotilla post-detainment at @peoplesforumnyc, one Flotilla activist and artist, Leila Hegazy, recounted the experience.</description>
