He ran behind the house and saw the settlers jumping over the fence before leaving in their tractors, leaving the fire blazing. This incident reflects a broader and growing pattern in the West Bank, where settlers establish outposts within Palestinian villages, seize grazing land and water resources, intimidate residents, and force displacement. In July 2025, a Bedouin community in the Jordan Valley was compelled to flee after settlers set up a tent in the village, took control of water supplies, and expanded an outpost, leaving the residents without shelter or access to water.
