Ezgi’s funeral was held today in Nablus city in the occupied West Bank. A military procession was performed to honor her sacrifice for Palestine. She will be buried in Turkey, where her parents currently live. Ezgi was volunteering with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) to provide a protective presence for Palestinians against settlers and the Israeli military. She was shot dead by the Israeli military while standing under an olive tree during a non-violent protest. Earlier today, the Israeli military arrived to the location where Ezgi was killed and asked the neighbors to provide any footage from the killing.
