<description>For more: https://www.cgtn.com/video The exhibition "Ode to Peace," co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the National Art Museum of China, is now on display. Pablo Picasso's "Soldier with a Bird" stands out as an anti-war declaration, and connects to the ancient Chinese idea of "zhige" – a call to lay down arms, says Shao Xiaofeng, director at the museum. The exhibition features nearly 80 paintings, sculptures, prints and watercolors from the collections of both domestic and international artists held by the two institutions. CGTN reporter Yang Yan uncovers the stories behind it.
