They took everything," says Abdullah. Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces seized the city of el-Fasher last week, a western Sudanese city that has been under siege for more than 500 days. Soon after, reports of massacres and widespread abuses against civilians started emerging, as well as footage taken by triumphant fighters showing bloody and chaotic scenes.
