Israel confirmed the remains as those of Goldin, killed in the 2014 Gaza war. Earlier, Red Cross vehicles transported the remains along the Salah al-Din road toward the Kissufim crossing after receiving them from Gaza. Under the truce, Hamas has released all 20 living hostages and 24 sets of remains, while Israel has freed nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and returned the bodies of hundreds killed in Gaza.
