WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasised that the situation remains “catastrophic,” adding that “there is no dent in hunger because there is not enough food.” Ghebreyesus also stressed that “there are no fully functioning hospitals in Gaza,” with only 14 out of 36 operating at all, and said that at least seven billion dollars are needed to rebuild Gaza’s health system.
