Jafarawi was reportedly shot dead by an armed militia in the Sabra neighbourhood of Gaza City, as he covered clashes between an Israel-backed entity and Hamas fighters. His killing is another reminder of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, where countless journalists have been repeatedly targeted for showing the world the truth of its atrocities.
