Ibrahim said his son, a US citizen, has suffered severe conditions in detention, including hunger, illness, and mistreatment, describing the facility as “the worst prison on earth.” Ibrahim says his family has repeatedly contacted the US Embassy and other American officials but has received only vague assurances that “work is being done.” The father said his son faces accusations of throwing a rock, which he denies, emphasising that there is no evidence to support the charge. He criticised the widespread torture and coercion within Israeli prisons, saying that many detained children are forced into false confessions under duress.
