<description>"The N*zis were tried at Nuremberg for launching a war of aggression and convicted of that," Mearsheimer noted. "Trump launching a war of aggression on February 28th is a war crime". In a recent round-table on Judge Napolitano’s “Judging Freedom”, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson and political scientist John Mearsheimer laid out a devastating case: Donald Trump's war on Iran meets every definition of a war crime. The US-Isreli war on Iran has wrecked civilian infrastructure, damaging over 940 schools—including the deadly February 28 strike on a girls' school in Minab that klled up to 175 people, mostly young girls, destroyed more than 100,000 homes, displacing 3.2 million people, and damaged 339-400 medical facilities. Critical energy and water infrastructure, such as power plants, oil refineries, and desalination plants, has been targeted. Over 20,000 shops have been destroyed, internet connectivity has plummeted to about 1%, and civilian casualties exceeded 3,750, including at least 496 women and 221 children, 18 under five. Foreign nationals from Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, China, Iraq, and Lebanon are among the dead. International law experts have uniformly condemned this. U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric warned that attacking such infrastructure causes "excessive incidental civilian harm," while Sen. Chris Van Hollen called it a "textbook war crime." The broader context includes US complicity in the Gaza gencide. "The Israelis are executing a gencide in Gaza, and we're complicit," Johnson stated. Mearsheimer agreed: "It is a gen*cide." He concluded: "If there were Nuremberg trials … President Trump, along with President Netanyahu and many of their advisers, would be hanged". Domestically, Democrats have explored impeachment, but a Republican-controlled Congress blocks that path. However, if even establishment Democrats take Congress in the November 2026 mid-term elections, there is a strong chance that Trump would be impeached. Whether the impeachment would be over Gaza and Iran, or over the massive insider trading and corruption, or the Epstein files, Trump will most certainly have a difficult time in 2027.</description>
