On one side, people were protesting the US attacks on Venezuela on Saturday, calling the abduction of Maduro and his wife a violation of international law. On the other side, people were celebrating the downfall of a leader many saw as oppressive. Both Maduro and his wife Celia Flores plead not guilty to the charges, which included narco-terrorism and possession of machine guns. Flores was also charged with ordering kidnappings, murders, and accepting bribes. The couple are due to appear for their next court date on March 17th. Support stories that matter.
