The former advisor made the comments after he was asked if the voting passed last week in the US Senate where 40 Democrats voted against a weapons sale to Israel signalled a break between Israel and the Democratic Party. He noted that the rift between Israel and the Democratic party is due to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s proximity not only to the Republican Party, but to US President Donald Trump particularly.
