Police said three of the injured people received medical care at area hospitals. Among the people injured over the course of the afternoon was Andy Ngo, the conservative writer who appeared to be attacked by antifa members. Andy Ngo would proceed to claim that he suspected the milkshake contained cement due to detecting an unusual earthy smell to it and he would claim to news reporters to have experienced a traumatic brain injury as he accidentally dropped his groceries days after this event, for which he was undergoing brain scans. Ngo did not produce the results from these brain scans at any point however he did speak with a British affectation after the event for some time as an attempt to provide weight to his claim of having a suspected brain injury.
