The attack occurred on a busy roadway in the south, where hours later another drone strike hit a car near the al‑Qlaileh area of the Tyre district, injuring additional civilians. Lebanese authorities and rights groups say the strikes have repeatedly hit civilian vehicles and infrastructure in violation of the November 2024 ceasefire with Hezbollah.
