Video footage of the aftermath shows medical and food supplies strewn amidst the wreckage in Al-Bukamal, Deir Ezzor province. Lebanese media Al Maydeen said an Iranian source blamed Israel for the attack which took place on the same day that a military factory in Isfahan, a city in the heart of Iran, was also bombed by Israel, the Wall Street Journal reported citing US officials. Last month, Israel's military chief confirmed that Israel was responsible for a similar airstrike against an Iranian convoy in Syria last November that killed at least 14 people, while it has frequently been bombing Syria for years intending to weaken supporters of the Palestinian resistance like Iran and Hezbollah. The international community has been totally silent about Israel's illegal attacks in Syria. Iranian state media reported that no-one was killed in the Al-Bukamal strike, but one Syrian driver was injured.
