        <description>We love to see Sierra Club members working against nuclear weapons testing, but the Pentagon's damage to the environment is much broader than nukes. Jet fuel, depleted uranium, forever chemicals, and tens of millions of tonnes of greenhouse gases have entered our ecosystems due to U.S. military operations. We're asking the 12 largest environmental groups in the country, including the Sierra Club, to join the anti-war movement in recognizing that war is one of the greatest threats to our planet there is. Climate change causes war and war causes climate change. Let's work together to end both.</description>
