<description>China's Shenzhou-20 taikonauts returned to Beijing on November 14 – and they weren't alone. Alongside the crew, a batch of space station biomedical samples from the Shenzhou-21 return capsule also arrived, with scientists taking over the package at 1:00 a.m. during a transfer ceremony. The 3.2-kilogram medical samples include 199 specimens in seven types – from blood and urine to microbes and cells – supporting 19 experiments on the space station that study how microgravity affects bones, gut bacteria, the brain, body rhythms and sleep.
