SDF destroys bridges in the Syrian city of Raqqa cutting it off from the countryside https://tankie.tube/videos/watch/46072244-327c-44b6-9a76-cd8cf9637195 The Syrian government has accused the SDF of destroying Raqqa’s Old Bridge during its retreat from the city. The blast cut the city’s main water supply and halted movement across the river, worsening humanitarian conditions for civilians in the area. The retreat came as Syrian government forces took control of large areas previously held by the Syrian Democratic Forces, following an outbreak of fighting in Aleppo earlier this year. After SDF commander Mazloum Abdi ordered a withdrawal, government forces shifted their focus eastwards, moving to push SDF units off the western bank of the Euphrates and taking control of the cities of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor. A ceasefire is now in place, after negotiations between Damascus and SDF brought the clashes to a halt. Support stories that matter.
