Video from November 28 shows the suspect berating women leaving prayer, swinging a metal object toward them, striking a door as they tried to block him, and shouting "Fucking Muslims" and "Get the fuck out of here." Police arrested Dr Tony Hsiao and charged him with assault, trespassing, and destruction of property. He has previously been arrested for a similar attack on the same mosque. Despite the repeated targeting and explicit abuse, no hate crime charges have been filed. Muslim civil rights group CAIR is urging state and federal authorities to pursue hate crime charges, saying no one should be allowed to repeatedly intimidate and attack the same house of worship.
