The Israeli army claimed that Shweikh was a “Hezbollah terrorist” without providing any evidence. The same day the Israeli army killed Shweikh, Israeli soldiers fired at a patrol of Unifil peacekeepers from a position inside Lebanese territory that Israel occupies.
