After competing, Chinese para athlete Ouyang Jingling hurried back to Guiyang, Hunan Province, with little time to savor the event. After losing the use of her left hand as a child, Ouyang Jingling went on to win over 50 medals in both domestic and international track events. She retired after the London 2012 Paralympics and became a special education teacher in Hunan Province. Invited to this year's Games, she tried taekwondo for the first time, finishing in fifth place individually and helping Hunan Province secure third in the team event.
