Residents of Khallet al-Daba have also endured a rise in attacks from Israeli settlers. Earlier this month, at least 13 people were injured, including an infant, after settlers entered the village. Although the mass displacement of Massafer Yatta has been seen on the main stage with Oscar-winning documentary, "No Other Land," Israeli forces and settlers have continued their attacks on the community. Just last week, the documentary's co-director Bassel Adra's family home was raided by Israeli soldiers after it was attacked by settlers, in which two of his brothers and one cousin were wounded.
