Lebanese state media reported Sunday that Israeli forces carried out house demolitions and detonations in Bint Jbeil, despite entering a ceasefire with Hezbollah on Thursday. Earlier on Sunday, Israel’s Arabic spokesperson posted a map on X highlighting a zone five kilometres deep into south Lebanon which it is occupying and which it describes as a “forward defense zone”.
