Alawite protesters took to the streets in the coastal city of Latakia two days after a mosque bombing that killed eight people in an Alawite neighbourhood of Homs. Officials believe an explosive device was detonated inside the building, Syria’s state-run news agency, SANA, reported, citing a security source.
