With a total investment of 5.44 billion yuan (about $763 million), the plant will use China's self-developed molten salt energy storage technology. Three solar receiver towers will collect and store heat, which will then be used to drive a single 350-megawatt steam turbine. This design enables the plant to generate reliable, around-the-clock electricity. The project is expected to be fully connected to the power grid by the end of September 2027.
