Israeli officials said the strike, carried out with missiles fired at Sa’ad’s vehicle, killed at least four to five people and wounded dozens; Gaza health authorities reported multiple casualties in the blast. According to the IDF, Sa’ad was a key figure in the group’s military hierarchy overseeing the production of rockets, missiles and anti-tank weapons.
