The group took part in hands-on experiments and trial rides at the Lab of Rail Transit Vehicle System, gaining a close-up look at its cutting-edge technology. Experts note that the system being developed at Southwest Jiaotong University is one of China's most streamlined maglev approaches. It is among three key technologies expected to reach speeds exceeding 600 km/h in the future, potentially helping bridge the gap between high-speed rail and air travel.
