Palestine solidarity prisoners in Britain have entered a critical phase of their hunger strike, which they began more than 40 days ago. Pressure is mounting on the Labour government to respond to demands put forward by dozens of activists imprisoned for their direct action in support of Palestine. Audrey Corno, of Prisoners for Palestine, describes the critical condition of the hunger strikers and the increasing support from the broader solidarity movement for the imprisoned Palestine Action members. “Until our demands are met, we will resist,” wrote Qesser Zuhrah, one of the prisoners. “We ask our government now: are you willing to let us die before you stop arming a genocide?”
