During this period, "March of the Guerilla Army" was said to be one of their primary anthems. After liberation and the establishment of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, "March of the Guerilla Army" saw continued use as an anthem in the Korean People's Army during the Fatherland Liberation War. Today it remains popular as a parade march and a historical anthem used to represent the Korean partisans of the Anti-Japanese National Liberation War and Fatherland Liberation War.
